The panel is simply held by 4 panel pins. No glue as I want it to be able to move with humidity. Notice the gap, that's done on purpose. Again so it can move about freely !
After sanding the door (Like I did with the frame) I hung it on 2 small butt hinges. This guide is long enough without me showing you how to do this (Sorry!)
Just one final sand. Before you finish it sand it to 220 grit at least. This will make it all nice and smooth !
Here I have begun to give the cabinet a coat of Linseed oil. You can see how it really draws out the colour and grains in this old oak.
Well here it is, finished. All I need now is an oak knob - and to find a place for it to go ! Oh yeah and I need a back !
